My students need the Tag reader system to help them enjoy and learn how to read due to their unique learning needs and disabilities.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
A couple of years ago you were all so generous to give us two Tag readers and a library of books. My students love them and we want to keep enjoying them. Since one Tag reader broke, we now have one for the whole class. Please help us by donating for more Tag readers and books.
The students in my classroom range from children with mild learning disabilities to severe Autism.
All the children work hard to overcome their learning disabilities. Technology excites them and makes learning fun for them. Since I work in a high poverty, low income area, many of the children only access reading and technology at school. Thanks to you they have learned to read with the Tag materials.
My Project
The Tag/Leapfrog materials make learning fun and educational. It is also used as a reward for hard work. For instance, if I see that they are trying to sound out words on their own, I can grant them access to the Leapfrog Tag system to not only make it easier for them, but also to reward them for their hard work. This works well for my students and is very motivating.
You donation will make a huge impact on the lives of not only this class but many classes in the future.
The children at our school thank you in advance. This will help them learn to read and want to read.
