This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I moved into a new school with no resources for my class to sit and read in our reading nook. My reading nook is currently a mismatch of chairs, a bookcase, and rug.

I would like my students to have a child size couch, chair, and bookcases on their level for them to access the books in our reading nook.

I would like my students to be able to reach the books comfortably and have a safe comfortable space to sit. They would enjoy having a space that is made for them to enjoy books with their friends.
