My students need a mini 3-egg incubator and EZ Scope to see their chicks growing in their eggs.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Goode's classroom raised $254
This project is fully funded
Our school is located in a rule area in Indiana. The students are surrounded by farmland and farm animals. Although they are around farm life, many of them do not get the experiences of hatching chickens.
We currently have an incubator and plan on raising chickens. The only problem with just having an incubator is that the students can not see what is going on inside their eggs. We can show them pictures, but it is not as interesting as seeing their own eggs growing.
We would like to incorporate an EZ scope into our lesson plans. It would be much more educational for the students to see the chicks inside the eggs during their growth process.
Think about your own educational experiences and how much more you got out of hands-on lessons. Being hands-on and having the students involved in their education is how I strive to teach. The only way this is possible is through grant contributions. The students and I appreciate donations that make this kind of learning possible.
