“Chick” This Out: We’re Hatching Chickens in First Grade!

Help me give my students a egg incubator, chicken brooder kit and TPT gift cards to elevate our chicken life cycle project.

My Project

We are excited to begin our animal life cycle unit in science this month! We’ve never had chickens at our school before. The incubator, brooder and thermometer will ensure that our chicks develop and grow into adult chickens. We will use the play pen to take our chicks outside for fresh air.

Raising our own chickens will be an experience that we’ll never forget!

We will use the TPT gift cards for quality lessons and additional activities/ worksheets to enhance our hands-on learning experience. The additional items (gloves, hemp bedding, chicken feed with feeders and drop cloth) will be beneficial in caring for our chicks while keeping our classroom and hands clean.

My scholars are an amazing group of learners and enjoy coming to school. Help me to give them an experience of a lifetime. Maybe we’ll have our own farmers one day!
