My Project
Students will use these checkers and chess pieces to play at recess with their friends. Many students can not run or climb and have limited choices to interact with their peers. Having the ability to play checkers or chess at our handicapped-accessible picnic benches will give them options for recess.
Students can challenge their friends and have choices on the playground, and not be limited by physical abilities.
While playing these games, students will be practicing strategy and developing their social skills too! these pieces will be enjoyed for years by many groups of students!
