Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As we approach the last day of school, I want to create a memorable experience that celebrates their growth and provides them with lasting keepsakes that symbolize their achievements.

The specific items I am requesting will make a significant difference in their learning and memories.

The "Oh, the Places You'll Go!" banner and poster will enhance our classroom environment, creating a festive atmosphere on their final day. The scented markers and posters will allow each student to create a personalized poster, where they can write one of their favorite things about each student in our class. This activity will encourage self-reflection and boost their self-esteem as they celebrate each other's unique qualities.

Each student will also receive a copy of the book, "Oh, the Places You'll Go!" that I will personalize with a special message. In this message, I will offer words of encouragement, providing them with wisdom and positive thoughts as comforting resources. Finally, the bags will be used to present their books, creating a special keepsake they can cherish.

My goal for this project is to create a memorable last day that honors my students’ accomplishments and empowers them for their future journeys. I want them to leave my classroom feeling valued, confident, and equipped with resources that inspire them to continue growing.

What makes my students special is their diverse backgrounds, unique talents, and unwavering determination to succeed. They have shown incredible growth this year, and I want to celebrate their individuality and the bright futures ahead of them. Together, we can create lasting memories and cherished keepsakes that they will carry with them as they embark on new adventures.
