This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This is the first time my students are taking a chemistry class in their high school experience. We want to provide them with the most realistic experience as possible that we can offer. Future college students should be able to arrive to college already familiar with chemistry knowledge and ALSO chemistry materials, tools and labs. Once they are in college, they should be able have a much better transition into real chemistry lab materials. My students shouldn't be deprived of this experience just because they come from low income communities. ALL students should be able to learn chemistry freely, safely & as real as possible!
