My Project
My freshman science students are full of curiosity and energy, and I want to keep that excitement going by bringing chemistry to life with hands-on experiments! I’m hoping to get a variety of chemistry sets that will let them explore the world of chemical reactions, test out their ideas, and learn in a fun, interactive way.
These chemistry sets will make abstract ideas like reactions and the properties of matter something they can actually see and work with, not just read about in a textbook. My goal is to give my students the chance to experiment, ask questions, and maybe even discover a love for science that lasts a lifetime.
This classroom project was brought to life by Hawai'i State Dept. of Ed and Marc & Lynne Benioff.
