Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach 4 sections of high school science regents classes. Each class consists of about 15 students. My school is full of students who are very involved in the community and like to apply what they learn in the classroom to the real world.
50% of the students in each class have learning disabilities, and one student is an English Language learner.
The students in our school are the sweetest and kindest students you can ever meet and they are always willing to bring their creativity and abilities to each of their classes.
My Project
After almost two years of remote learning, our students will finally return back to the building for in person learning. These classroom supplies will help give the classroom a warm and welcoming feel for students to come to class and learn. The class will also adhere to students opting for remote learning as a class camera will be installed to give remote students the classroom feel and experience from home. These supplies will add a lively touch to our students and will serve as a great motivation to in person instruction.
