This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A new school year is the perfect opportunity to start fresh, renewed, and ready to learn. I want my students to feel loved, cared and appreciated from the first day of starting school.

When students feel noticed and cared for, they learn more and can adjust better to following procedures and routines.

For many middle school students, the beginning of the school year can be difficult as they navigate a new set of expectations and freedom by themselves.

Help me prepare by giving them cards and treats to celebrate them and their efforts. I also want to support them by connecting and creating powerful bonds by using games during lunch and counseling sessions with them.
