Our team practices 2x/week for 2+ hours. They cheer for sports teams and perform at community events in NY. We are currently working hard so we can compete. Our biggest challenge is having enough practice time and space. Our motto is to "Stay Fierce" because it is what we bring to games and life!
Our team is composed of an extremely culturally diverse group of young ladies and men ranging from grades 9-12.
They attend a very select Science, Math and Technology School in the New York City area. Our team has shown enormous courage, dedication, and hard-work by spending several hours per week learning new cheerleading techniques including dances, jumps, and stunting. We have a very fun-loving, enthusiastic, and endearing team that is determined to enhance their skills enough to participate in competitions in the area.
My Project
We are in need of more uniforms to promote pride for both our cheerleading team and our school. Students will use the uniforms to advocate our love for cheerleading and our school. To us, pride is something that can’t be measured; it describes our passion and satisfaction for our school and the opportunities that they have given us. Additionally, we would like these uniforms to provide further unity and team cohesiveness.
With this donation, students will feel a sense of comradery and pride for their team.
The uniforms will help with their performance and allow them to better emphasize their motions with flash! These uniforms will also give future cheerleaders a more economical way to enjoy the sport!
