Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year, our elementary school launched basketball teams that compete at the Tulsa Dream Center. Our school has absolutely loved getting to cheer on our athletes.
As we prepare for the next school year, our staff is excited to add cheerleading to our basketball program, to expand our opportunities for after school involvement and create a positive environment of school spirit.
The project supplies include 30 poms and options for shorts, so that our students can wear spirit shirts and matching shorts as our uniform on the sidelines. We appreciate every penny that goes toward making this special club a reality for our students!
