These books will help us to spark an interest in Free Reading Time, which will then create a path for higher-level students.
It's proven that good readers do better in school because they are more able to read the materials and then apply those learned skills to what they're learning.
Free reading is such an important part of developing good readers!
I can't wait to incorporate more free reading into our classroom each day. I feel like with COVID and the change of pace, kiddos are less likely to pick up a book and read. I want to change that - one day at a time! We will read these books together and "GET EXCITED".
