My Students
For my class, Team Super, our day is always connected to our class cheer. When asked about what super scholars do in school, my student's enthusiastically reply, "We grow our brain, and give our heart!" For us, school isn't just about working hard to be smart, it is about working hard to be kind.
I am lucky to be inspired by twenty incredible Prek scholars everyday.
Energetically committed to growing their brains and giving their hearts, my students come to school everyday in love with learning and determined to make the world a better places as friends, problem solvers, and citizens. They are not just leaders in our classroom, but the future leaders of our city and our country. As their teacher, I am dedicated to giving them the opportunities they deserve to reach their fullest potentials. At our Title 1 school in Maryland, resources which allow opportunity, are not easily accessible. I refuse to let that inequity determine outcomes, and with the compassionate and vibrant love that my students give our class and greater world everyday, I am grateful for and inspired by those who generously support our classroom.
My Project
This listening center and accompanying book sets will be a favorite of my students. My students love learning to read and are determined to be better readers. This resource will help them in numerous literacy standards and learning goals in literacy workstations and choice time. While it will help them learn to read, it will also develop their reading comprehension skills, print concepts, imagination, and listening skills. It will increase their already growing love of reading, and give them the opportunities they need and deserve in our classroom.
