Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Cheerleading is more than just a sport; it's a way for my cheerleaders to build confidence, teamwork, commitment, and school pride. With pom poms, bows, and cheer bags, they will feel like a true team and gain a sense of belonging. This project will help them grow socially and emotionally while encouraging positive behavior and academic success through meaningful participation.

This project is especially important because our school is located in a neighborhood with minimal access to extracurricular activities, particularly for elementary children.

Many of our students face financial and social challenges that limit their opportunities outside of school. Through cheerleading, these young students have an opportunity to express themselves, stay engaged, and work toward personal and academic goals. They are becoming role models not only for their peers, but for future generations of students who will look up to them. With your support, we can continue building a program that inspires pride, achievement, and community in a place where our children need it most.
