This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students will use these resources to get other students to play chess. Many of our students are craving activities that they can join during advisory and lunch. These resources will be available to check out during lunch and can be used during advisory as well. Students love the game and it is satisfying seeing them engage in a game that is offline but also a game that pushes critical thinking. This game was a powerful game for me to learn when I was young because it didn't require anything but strategy.
