This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I work as a Special Education Teacher for a self-contained class grades K-3. Due to budget cuts, teachers are left to find their own resources for materials.
My class has a range of different disabilities.
These students learn best with hands-on material as well as enlarged picture symbols. In need to be able to differentiate the lesson to fit each of their individual needs. The great part is that this easel is mobile so I can move it directly in front of my students who are in wheel chairs.
My Project
The Classic Birch Store It All Teaching Center will be a great asset to our classroom. Having this teaching center in the classroom will enable to the students to a successful academic career. This teaching center will target each individual learning style of the students such as the visual learners. Since this easel is mobile I can move it around the classroom to access each student.
