This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is needed to help me create a learning space for students. I am requesting easel pads, scented markers, an adjustable chart stand, and more. Using charts in the classroom allows for the learning to be charted and tracked for student access. I allow for students to create and co-create charts which allows for them to build in the covered learning for lessons. I use research based practices in creating charts with models. Charts serve as visual maps and are necessary for students to learn and retrieve information even when the chart is no longer up in the classroom. All charts are then filed by lesson/unit and anchored on a chart rack for students to access when they are needed.
