This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year the fourth grade team tried different methods with our students in small groups. We allowed them to use teacher chart paper and Post-it notes to work on questions or lessons together.
Sadly we ran out of a lot of chart paper quickly but noticed how well this method worked.
Each teacher took turns buying more chart paper but it still wasn't enough.
We are hoping we can find some help with a full stack of chart paper for each classroom. This supply of paper should at least get us started for fall and most of the winter. The Post-it notes help with the lessons and students can even write positive reactions to other groups' work. The graphing chart paper will be a huge help in our math small groups when they need to create maps, work on geometry problems, and so much more.
