This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing and able minded students. Each day we read a different book to our students and it really develops a love for books. Our number one goal is to create lifelong readers. Having a class set of books will help the students develop a love for a series of book and understand how different author write. Do you remember what you read when you young reader? My students come from diverse backgrounds and have experienced many life experiences at the age of 9. It's important that each and every day as a teacher we build relationships with books and take them to different places though the use of books. Books are valued for our class and these books would be extremely valued. Thank you.

My Project

The materials are necessary if every student could read Charlotte's Web. I truly believe that the world would be a better place. Charlotte's Web is read every single year in our class. We have to use extra books from the public library to fill the needs of the students. With these books it will be incredibly necessary for our student success. Junie B. Jones is just an amazing character for the kids to follow. They really identify with her and we really can't wait to read it. I just hope this gets funded.
