My Students
My classroom is a wonderful place filled with hardworking students and staff. Every day, I fall just a little bit more in love with their amazing hearts and smiles. Each child has an individual education plan to help them make progress on goals in functional academics, behavior, life skills, communication, and functional life skills.
My students are full of curiosity, energy, and incredible potential.
We focus on the positive and celebrate every success that they achieve. Each day I do my best to make sure that they have the necessary tools to succeed, but it takes a lot of equipment and materials to help meet their unique needs.
With the help of DonorsChoose.org, I am able to provide unique and engaging materials to help my students, who experience a variety of disabilities, overcome their challenges and let their abilities shine through.
My Project
We are very fortunate to have our school provide Chromebooks and iPads for our students. Technology can be a game changer for children, especially those who experience Autism and other challenges. We use our devices throughout the day to learn math, reading, social skills and science concepts so keeping them charged and safe is important.
We would like to get a sturdy, locking cart to keep our technology safe, charged and tucked away when we are not using them.
