Charging for a Great Day

My students need 2 more class tablets, cases for our previous tablets we received on Donors Choose and a charging station to keep them all together and charged for each days activities!

My Students

What are we in 2nd grade? We are flexible and organized! My students walk into my classroom every day excited for the new adventures on which I will take them. They are eager to see what each new day will bring and willing to try their very best in every activity they engage in.

My classroom is an inclusion classroom servicing Special Education students in a general education setting.

I have to use a lot of differentiation throughout my school day to be sure I am reaching and allowing each student access to the curriculum to the best of their ability. I spend hours modifying, creating, and altering assignments so that each student can be confident in his/her work and feel like they are able to meet the requirements for every assignment.

Also, in my class, I have many students that are a part of nutrition club which gives them food weekly to bring home. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day. They know my classroom is their happy and safe place.

My Project

We all know children's hands can get a little slippery! Accidents happen and we want to be sure we keep our technology devices safe and looking good! We also want to make sure we can keep them charged up and ready for each day with our charging station. These cases and charging station will help keep our devices charged and accessible each day for my class along with keeping them safe from accidents!

We LOVE TECHNOLOGY and connecting to the outside world!

We have also requested two more kindle fire's. We currently have 22 students and are so grateful for the 9 tablets we have access too; however, with more devices, more students will get the opportunity to explore. Students at our school also participate in iReady math and raz kids as programs to help them enrich, maintain and strengthen their math and reading skills. We also can't wait to take virtual field trips to places we can't travel to in person. Just yesterday, from Va we visited the San Diego Zoo.
