This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach an incredible group of multilingual 4th graders who are eager to learn, explore, and create. Many of my students come from working-class, immigrant families and depend on school-provided devices for their learning. Unfortunately, we don’t have enough reliable chargers—and the ones we do have often stay at school.

Chargers are expensive, and not all families can afford to replace them.

This creates an equity gap: some students can charge at home and continue learning, while others fall behind.

With your support, we’ll provide classroom and take-home chargers so every student has full access to their education—at school and at home. Help us stay powered up and ensure that no child is left without the tools they need to succeed.
