My Project

I teach a special education class for students with moderate needs. Many of them come from low-income households. Some of my students do not take their Chromebooks home at the end of the day for a variety of reasons, and choose to leave them in my classroom overnight.

Your donation will help give my students a safe, consistent spot in my classroom to put their Chromebooks at the end of the day.

Having this charging dock set up and ready to go will help them build independence by managing their own Chromebooks each afternoon and morning. I will be able to place it behind my whiteboard, which can easily be closed at the end of the day to hide the Chromebooks from view.

Having their Chromebooks charged when they come in every morning will be a game changer. It will ensure that all students are ready to learn without the barrier of needing to charge their devices and sit near an outlet while they work, or argue about who gets to use the few chargers I have.
