My students need a cart to charge all of our chromebooks! Our school was built in 1892 which means outlets are hard to come by. Charged electronics are necessary for success!

My Students

My students are an interesting, inquisitive, and hard-working bunch of fourth graders! They love learning, are kind to one another, and have empathy I wish the rest of the world could emulate.

We are an inclusive classroom in which all students, regardless or race, economic status, or learning ability is welcome, accepted, supported and celebrated for who they are.

Technology greatly supports the diverse learning needs of our students, helps prepare students for junior middle school, and builds the technological literacy necessary for college and careers. In our fourth grade inclusion classroom, we have a wide array of learners. We have students with diverse learning needs and students who need to be challenged beyond the 4th grade curriculum. Having technology in our classroom will allow my co-teacher and I to better meet the individualized learning needs of all students.

My Project

Our students use chromebooks to type papers, create interactive presentations, and even read books! This technology is useless if it's not charged. Our school building was built in 1892 which means outlets in our classroom are limited. When students need to use a chromebook, this means finding an outlet for them to sit by and running cords through the classroom (not safe)!

We need a charging box so we have the ability to charge all of our devices to ensure they are ready to go when students need them!

Having this resources means no more dead chromebooks when it's time to begin testing, and a safer learning environment for students.
