Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are a school community that relies heavily on iPads for our students to communicate with us. Most of our students are autistic and minimally speaking. They rely on an AAC program to express their basic wants and needs. Thanks to these programs, the students are able to express "I am hungry", "I am thirsty", "I am sad", etc. When these iPads are out of battery, it is very upsetting for the students as they can no longer communicate.

We live in a technology-rich world, and education just keeps changing.

We have completely changed our paradigm to meet these unique learners, but the technology has simple lags. Please help us continue to provide high-quality support to our students just by ensuring their devices are charged.
