My Project
I love that they all have different personalities. What makes them special is that they come to school daily, no matter what challenges they are facing. Most of the time, school is their safe haven, and I want to provide that safe zone for them by providing them with tools to help them overcome obstacles. I work in an economically low neighborhood and would love to help them to understand that it is okay to go through things, but this is how you handle it.
My lessons would be in a group setting with those who, for example, have issues with kindness.
The books will help me give better reading examples thru stories on what to do. The workbook will help them explain and talk about their situations. I just want my students to win in life and grow into successful individuals who have great character with outstanding social and life skills.
