This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My wonderful students are great little human beings. As humans, we all need help in solving conflicts appropriately and dealing with our emotions in a healthy way. Particularly with my special needs students, learning how to communicate and problem solve is a necessary and important first step in becoming independent adults in the future.

Teaching character education and social skills (books, emotions cards, posters, etc.) is the foundation of a civil classroom community which has a positive learning environment.

By gaining skills on how to interact with others, my students will be better prepared for life.
