Character Development

Help me give my students games to develop character and social skills. Books to read about developing ideas and friendships. And Leapfrog DVD's to develop reading and math skills.

My Students

My students come each day eager to learn. They are curious and active. They enjoy math, reading and writing. I have a well rounded class excited to learn and want be engaged in fun and rewarding activities.

My students learning is best taught by hands on activities and movement.

Our school is nestled near the Oquirrh Mountains of Utah. Wh have a very high population of students in our growing community so funds are spread out. I want to keep my students engaged in activities that will help them to grow.

My Project

Hands on items will teach my students how to share and interact with their peers. Building item will instill and encourage creativity. Legos will be used in centers and they will share their creation's they build as a team.

Spot it, Sorry, Trouble and Hedbanz will be used to develop sharing, teamwork, and develop character when they do not win.

These games will be a reward for good hard work completion.

Leapfrog dvds will reinstate lessons learned in the classroom. Help remember letter name and sounds. It will reiterate word development.

The class set of mirrors will be used for letters and sound development. If they are able to see how to form words, letter and sounds. It will enhance speaking and reading skills.

The books will be a great addition to our library. I want to help my students get excited about creativity and to be a good citizen. I want to encourage personal and positive development.
