My Project
This year our district initiated a 30 minute reading block every day for quiet reading. It has been so nice watching the students build their stamina, but now we need a wider variety of material to read, preferably chapter books!
Each student is required to have at least 3 books in their book bin at a time, and as because this is my first year teaching second grade, I have no chapter books in my collection!
My students have loved our read aloud portion of the day where I read to them, but now I need enough books so that they can read them too. We appreciate all of your help in deepening their love and passion for reading!
