Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The key to reading and learning is access to appropriate books. For my students who are struggling readers, having access to books is even more critical. Beyond e-books, I want to provide my students with physical books that they can hold, revisit, and enjoy.
I want to be able to foster my student's love of reading regardless of their reading levels.
This project would purchase a variety of chapter books and leveled readers to add to our library. I know that these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. My students have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.
