My Students
One of our biggest goals this year is to increase all of our reading levels! In order to get there we need to start by reading higher level and higher interest books more often. We selected a list of titles that will help spark our interest to pick up our independent reading books more often.
We are a bridge 4/5th grade self contain class at PS.234 The School of Performing Arts and Technology.
While there are many different types of learners in the class we are still a tight-knit bunch. My students are very energetic and extremely outgoing. We all love to dance perform and even lend helping hands as backstage crew members ! My students take pride in attending a performing arts elementary school.They work very hard to continuously put their best effort forth both in the classroom and on stage.
My Project
The four copies of the books requested like Jack and the Beanstalk: The Graphic Novel Blake A. Hoena, Ri, Cinderella: The Graphic Novel Stone Arch Books Staff, Jeffre, Marvin Redpost: Why Pick on Me?, January Joker Calendar Mysteries, February Friend Calendar Mysteries will make a huge impact in our classroom! Reading is a huge focus for my students and all of them are looking forward to increasing their reading levels and these fun engaging books will do just that! By having a few copies of each title we can really take our books clubs to the next level!
Any donations to this project will help improve the reading confidence for all of my students.
Having more high interest chapter books on a range of levels available will help push my students to make better choices for their reading. This will help open a door of unlimited possibilities that only reading can provide!
