Our first graders have that spark! They are eager learners with bright, inquisitive minds, and have a natural ability to tackle academic challenges and inquire about the world around them.
Tag school for scholars is home to some of New York's most talented and gifted children.
The school population is highly culturally diverse, and students come to Tag from all five boroughs of New York City.
Our students are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners. They are inspirations to themselves and others around them. They are budding scientists, writers, ambassadors, entrepreneurs, teachers. They are our future and I want to help give them a great start.
My Project
We need an assortment of books in our leveled reading library for independent reading and book clubs. Our students have a natural love for books, and I want to strengthen their love of reading by providing them with endless book choices. My dream is for students to struggle to choose a book, not because there is a lack of options, but because there are so many book they want to try!

My classroom library is the most important part of my room. It is where students go to choose stories, discover new information, learn about their word, and develop a love of reading. Students who excel at reading become more successful in life. Contributing to my classroom library will put my students on the path to success.
