My Students

I have a classroom of inquisitive and hardworking students. Despite the fact that they face challenges that most do not understand they still love learning. Several students have suffered tremendous loss but still persevere in a way many adults could not. They make me proud everyday.

My students are working on being critical thinkers and problem solvers.

They take on challenges through math, science and exposure to rigorous and meaningful text. Students in my class work to find solutions on a classroom level and are working to be world leaders and world changers!

My Project

In my STEM school we are shaping scientist, researchers, engineers, writers and thinkers! Technology is the gateway to exposure to the world. Many of my students will never leave the Englewood community. Through technology they can see the world and never leave have to.

Research is the key to understanding and technology leads them to do research.

I plan to use the technology with these chromebooks to implement programs that reinforce reading, math strategies and fact fluency. These also lead to solid math scholars and lovers of reading.

When my students struggle I put them on a website that supports their needs and they are able to learn while having fun.
