Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The Teen Pregnancy Program supports pregnant and parenting teens in our public schools. Many of the teen parents and their families struggle financially. Trying to provide for their babies, while going to school can be extremely difficult. While diapers are essential for their babies, they are very expensive for these young parents to afford.
By providing diapers and wipes, you will help remove at least one stressor for them.
This will help provide a sense of relief to them while managing a variety of other stressors, such as school. This will help them focus more of their time and energy on completing their education!
