My Project
My students are unique in many ways and significantly impact the world around them. Their curiosity and enthusiasm for learning can be contagious and inspire others to pursue their interests. They bring unique perspectives, experiences, and talents to the classroom, making the learning environment diverse and dynamic.
We are working on a project to provide the homeless and less fortunate in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, with everyday essentials.
Access to the necessary supplies will help my students with their community service projects. The HP OfficeJet 8015e Wireless Color All-in-One Inkjet Printer, Dymo Label Writer 550 Desktop Label Printer, and Scotch PRO Thermal Laminator, 9" Wide, Anti-Jam, White will help us with printing colored flyers and labeling the items collected for donations such as can foods, clothing, and other supplies. The TRU RED 8.5" x 11" Copy Paper, 20 lbs., 92 Brightness, 500 Sheets/Ream, 10 Reams/Carton will allow us to print a good amount of flyers for promotional use. Oxford Twin Fastener Folders, Assorted Colors, 25/Box will enable students to develop a portfolio that entails all their community service. The Prang Construction Paper, 11 Assorted Colors, 9" x 12", 300 Sheets will help create colorful posters and flyers.
Adequate materials will increase their confidence and motivation, as they feel better equipped to participate and succeed in civic services. In summary, my students are special and make a difference in their unique ways, and providing them with the necessary supplies can enhance their projects.
