Help me give my students the Chromebooks they need to produce a "Change and Agency" project that betters the community of West Harlem.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are an ambitious group of adolescents from West Harlem who respond well to technology. Last year, these students experienced significant gains in their ELA test scores.
Our school was recognized as a "Progress School" for the great strides these students made in spite of tremendous socioeconomic disadvantages.
The young people in this school and their passionate teachers take advantage of opportunities that are given to them.
It was their idea to initiate the "Change and Agency" project described below.
My Project
There are several students in each of my classes that routinely finish their work before their classmates, and they asked to do something special with the extra time they have. They wish to make a difference in their community (West Harlem).
They have been inspired by the stories of young people who have successfully combated issues such as poverty, racism, sexism, bullying, obesity and pollution within their immediate communities.
They asked for the opportunity to be agents of change and initiate local projects with the help of community leaders! These Chromebooks and the charging center for them would help students with their research and writing!
Students will use the Chromebooks to research information regarding local issues that impact them the most. They will devise a change initiative, create outreach pamphlets and posters, and reach out to community leaders and business owners requesting support.
