My Students

I teach at a rural school in a 100% free lunch school. My students are from all backgrounds. I have 36 students that vary in abilities and needs.

Creative, fun loving, ready to learn are the best words to describe my students.

They are ready to explore and learn. They love looking at books and working with letters and sounding out words.

The students come into the class searching for experiences they don't get to have at home. Let's go.

My Project

These materials will allow my students to be able to explore as well as me to read to the students from the books. We are including more social studies this year and there is not a lot of curriculum for materials.

The activity books will allow for better student engagement with historical facts.

They will be able to take these home and show these to their parents.

The presidential books will give the students a book to listen to and to take to the rug and look at and see the pictures and find sight words which will help with sight word recognitions as well.
