This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My goal for this project is to help my school create an off-season training program that will help all of our athletes get faster, stronger and more agile in the off-season. Many off-season programs only concentrate on lifting weights and running. I want to create an all encompassing program for our entire student body that is functional. It needs to fit the purpose of gaining skills, strength, speed and agility in the off-season, but that is also fun and entertaining, so that they want to be there everyday!
Items such as jump ropes and Plyo boxes will help them jump higher and become more explosive.
The Blaze pods will help our athletes become more flexible, agile and improve their coordination through utilizing quick responses to changing lights. The lighter weights will be great for our female athletes.
My students deserve to be able to succeed at the highest level they choose! By having these items, we will be able to guide our athletes to do exactly that.
