Challenging Young Minds

My Students

Pre-K For All is now something that most of the children in the community will be a part of. It is an important part of the learning process and provides solid stepping stones for success for the children in the future.

This year's class is enthusiastic about school and shows an interest in all aspects of learning.

We as educators would like to provide a learning environment that has materials to capture the interest of all students and help them to grow, play and learn.

My Project

Each morning my students come in ready to start their day. While some are eating breakfast, the others are engaged in different activities.

This year the favorite activity is doing puzzles.

I have some, but they are looking for new ones to do. We would love to provide a variety of new puzzles and have racks to put them in.

Legos are also a very popular table toy activity and we could use more so that more students can build their structures.

Our dramatic play refrigerator is old and can no longer be used. The students enjoy using the furniture in the dramatic play to prepare food for their friends. A new refrigerator would be a wonderful way for the students to role play in this center.

A bean bag chair would also add coziness to our cozy corner where students love to sit and read.

I also added ink for our printer and a new sturdy stapler which we use constantly to update our bulletin boards and provide word /picture cards to strengthen their literacy skills.
