Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Over the past couple of years teaching middle school, I have learned a few things.
1.
Students love organization. Everything should have a place and be accessible.
2. Students love to be challenged.
This items in this project address both of these. A calculator organizer and hanging wall organizer will create spaces for students to access tools and resources quickly and efficiently. They are able to spend more time exploring and learning mathematics!
Additionally, I have requested a couple of workbooks that I will be able to use to challenge students who may finish an assignment early. Some students would also be ecstatic to take these challenges home for fun.
