Challenge by Choice Gym Equipment for Deserving Students!
Help me give my students equipment choices (Rhino Skin Soft Hockey Set, Deluxe Parachute 30' Dia, GoSports 10" Playground Ball, etc.) in the gym and easy access to the materials they want to use!
I teach health and fitness to nearly 500 students in a Title I school where over 50% of students are on free/reduced breakfast and lunch. These students range in ages from preschool to 5th grade, as well as students who receive Designed Instruction (DI).
When students come into the gym I want them to be able to challenge themselves not only by what game, activity, or unit we're doing but also by choosing the equipment that is best for their needs.
In addition to equipment, I'm asking for storage and organization tools so that students can take ownership and get what they need quickly and efficiently. This will also help them to put things away and know that everything has a place.
