This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am the proud teacher of 19 wonderful students. My students are hard workers. They help each other which is great, because they are learning to work as a team. My students are economically disadvantaged, but their families are very supportive in their child's learning. They come each day with a desire to learn and succeed. I want the best for my students. I want them to succeed in their lives and be our future doctors, teachers, nurses, lawyers etc.
My Project
We need chairs for our small group table. These chairs will provide a comfortable place for my students to receive individualized instruction. At this time they have to bring there heavy chairs to the table. This causes some interruption. If we receive these chairs our class will flow without any havoc. We also need a scanner to keep records of important documents. This scanner will provide a better communication with our parents. We really hope that we receive the chairs and scanner. My students and I are in a district and school where budgets keep us from receiving much needed items.
