My Project
For my music program, concerts become a time of moving a great deal of equipment from the band room to the auditorium. The custodial staff are wonderful at helping us move bulky, hard to move materials but it involves finding large wheeled bins to transport those items in. In addition, the significant amount of performers means that a large number of chairs have to be transported to the auditorium. However, any equipment that has wheels can be quickly moved by myself, the students, or the custodial staff.
By purchasing chair dollies, chairs can be stacked and easily moved to a performance location in a short amount of time.
Quick movement would allow the music program to focus on rehearsals and performances instead of the movement of equipment.
