Chairs for the Art Room!

My students need 30 chairs for their tables in the art class that do not have broken feet or cracked seats.

My Students

Last year, our school helped my art room purchase 30 stools from a certain 'do it yourself' major chain of furniture. However, those cheap little stools have not been able to stand up to the feet and bodies of almost a thousand students.

I have all the grades at elementary, from five year old kindergartners to twelve year old sixth graders.

Everyone uses my chairs, and from the quality of the chairs that are left over, you can tell that EVERYONE uses my chairs! The seats on the plastic stools are breaking off easily now.

My Project

Well... they'll be sitting on them. With their bottoms. Though, let's be honest, they'll also be sitting on the stools with their feet and their knees. That's why I like these stools, they can handle that. These new stools will be able to stand up to the test of time and hundreds of children trying to break them!

We need safer chairs in the art room.

My current chairs are a mismatched set of plastic stools and left over chairs from the rest of the school. Some of my chairs are missing feet or have cracked seats. The plastic stools are breaking almost daily now! Have new, metal and sturdy stools will make a world of difference in sitting safely in my art room.
