My Students
I teach over five hundred AMAZING students in a rural community of central Florida. We dance, play instruments, sing funny songs, and have a blast. My students are so caring and kind. I can't wait to see them every day! Their favorite thing to do in my room is play "Freeze Dance" to 'Everybody DANCE Now!' We perform concerts for the community and celebrate classroom successes and each other. These students go out of their way to help the students that need it and the teachers that appreciate it.
My Project
The students LOVE their new chorus chairs that we were gifted through a generous donation from Goldman-Sachs! The students are so much more comfortable, they sit up tall and proud in the chairs, and have much better posture while singing in them. Not only are they comfy, but they look pretty snazzy too! However, due to growing class sizes, we are short a few chairs. There are a few unlucky individuals that are still stuck sitting in the cafeteria/classroom chairs we had before this gift. Please show my music classroom some love, and help us complete our class set of chorus chairs.
