They love learning (and laughing)! They are incredibly appreciative of the smallest gestures.
The students in our class engage in learning differently. Our classroom is not a one size fits all place. I want all my students to feel that they have the tools they need to help them be successful!
My Project
Students in our classroom sit at tables to work collaboratively with their peers. This means they don't have an individual desk to store supplies and materials in. Staying organized is an important life skill and also makes learning easier for our first graders.
These chair pockets would enable my students to keep their materials organized and easily accessible!
Students have journals, notebooks, and folders that they use throughout each and every day. By adding these chair pockets to our classroom, students can keep everything they need right on the back of their chairs, allowing for more learning time and less transition time!
