Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My class is growing and we are short some chairs! We run a Learning Lab and are lacking chairs for all of the students when we come together. We will use carts for each station to have art and writing supplies nearby. One of our carts has an issue with falling apart when it is moved and we now have a 5th station, so another cart needs to be added to the mix. Because we create our own lessons, we go through a LOT of printer ink. My students are very creative so giving them different writing utensils, like the gel pens, will help with their imagination and drawings.

The donations for this project will support my students in their Learning Lab and creative efforts during the school year.

The Learning Lab has been a success since its inception and these supplies will help it to keep smoothly running and encouraging the kids to keep learning.
