My Project

Our wonderful students are made up of a very diverse demographic of children. Unfortunately, many of them don't know if they will have a full stomach at the end of the night. They have worked hard through their challenges and diversities to create a family and a home away from home in their classrooms.

These children are striving to break the socioeconomic boundaries that have held them back from goals and achievements that other students and schools had access to during the COVID-19 shutdown.

They have always been hardworking individuals from kindergarten through 6th grade, where they are preparing to leave their little, found families.

These headsets and computer mice will help them better and more easily use the resources that we have in the classroom. They will be using videos, concept maps, coding, and typing skills to develop both social-emotional learning and academic learning. In turn, they will have better practice and comfort to take their standardized testing without being uncomfortable with the digital format.
