This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These items being requested are essential resources that need to be replenished in our ceramic's classroom. With so many students in and out of classes all day, we have come to the point where we have worn out and used up many of our supplies.
Working with clay can be messy business so we need new aprons to help students stay clean and feel relaxed while creating art.
After a class of handling clay, I like to offer the students hand lotion and sanitizers for their hands. And our brushes are always getting worn out due to being used all day.
The students appreciate having the materials in order to be able to comfortably work and have what is needed in the studio.
